Up for an Adirondack Adventure?

After, during or apart from your stay at Cochran's Adirondack Cabins, take a canoe/camping trip. Park your car at Cochran's who will then drop you off with your gear, including canoe/kayak, at Lower or Middle Saranac Lake where camping is available on an Adirondack island. At that point, your adventure will begin! Navigate your way back to Kiwassa Lake through the Lower Saranac Lake locks including, if you desire, a night camping during your trek back.

Camping will need to be arranged by you. Reservations for New York State campgrounds can be reserved through "Reserve America". Click here. 

Rates~

  • Transportation ~ $35
        Transportation includes transport of 2 people, gear and watercraft to Lower or Middle Saranac Lake

  • Canoe rental (kayaks also available at different rates - click here) ~ $35/day

  • Camp firewood ~ $5 per armload

  • Acceptance of garbage at the end of your trip ~ $5 per bag

  • Vehicle storage fee ~ (does not apply to guests or guests who stayed with us within 7 days of adventure) ~  $20
