1. Take Route 15 south to Champlain Crossing, connecting with I-87 south. 
  2. Take Exit 34 west, following Route 9N. 
  3. Then follow Route 86 to the Whiteface Mountain/Lake Placid area. 
  4. Go through the village of Lake Placid to Saranac Lake.
  5. When you get to Saranac Lake take a left at the second traffic light.

  6. Go over a small bridge, immediately turn left.

  7. Continue about a mile and bear left (at the Glenwood / Kiwassa split).

  8. You will bear left again at the tree with many name signs (including Cochran's Cabins)!

  9. We are at the dead end of the road, #1150. The house numbers were recently changed (for 911 purposes) and the old house number was 303. Either way, we are at the dead end.
