The following pet policy applies only to Cochran's Cabins. Kiwassa Lake Bed & Breakfast does not allow pets during your stay.

We look forward to welcoming you and your pet to our tranquil and secluded home. Our 23 acres are surrounded by thick woods and beautiful scenery. We pride ourselves on the fact that being only 3 miles from town, it remains peaceful and relaxing. In order to maintain the serenity we ask for your cooperation. When making your reservation, you must inform Cochran's Cabins that you will be bringing a pet.  

It is unacceptable to arrive without previous permission for your pet. 

Please keep the following thoughts in mind while you enjoy your stay with us:

  • Pets are NOT to be left alone in the cabin

When you leave the cabin, your dog must go with you. They are in a strange environment and need to be reassured and comforted, as any child would.

  • All dogs must be on a leash when outside of the cabin

Many of our other guests have pets as well. Dogs can be very territorial when in an unfamiliar environment and need to be controlled by their owners.

  • There should be no unnecessary barking

Noise travels very clearly across open waters. Please try to help others enjoy the serenity as well.

  • Please clean up after your dog

No one likes to have a foul odor emitting from the bottom of their shoe.
